“It is not Happy people that are Thankful, but Thankful people who are happy”
So where ever there are people there is an opportunity to be kind. I decided to make a list of how I can be thankful and show it to others.
First, ALL THANKS goes to GOD and JESUS for Life and Love.
Thanks for leading me to the Bibles’ 66 books instead of the many endless writings of men. Death will take me before I finish these, but thanks.
I would never try to persuade others to leave their religion. I just want to be free to worship Jehovah, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit without persecution from family or friends because I choose to leave their long-held religion. They are happy and I love that and want to be happy in my worship also.
Here are some of my personal heartfelt thankfulness.
- I am thankful I had my son and granddaughter visiting with me during the holidays.
- I am thankful that I can be a part of life and not afraid of it.
- I will complain less and breathe more.
- I will Let Be, Let Go, Let God.
- I will make the choice to let go of negative thoughts and fill my mind with positively thoughts.
- I will realize humans are a walking breathing wonder created by God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
- I will give thanks for another day of giving, loving life, and hate no one.
- I will consider how fortunate I am and give myself the gift of being joyfully me.
- I will change myself and communicate with love, not apprehension.
- I will pray every day and often for myself and those I love and am not so fond of. My grandchildren will take priority in my life now that my kids are grown.

Today is the day I let the Bible Students know I won’t be meeting with them anymore. Its been a rough couple of days coming to this conclusion. I don’t know what I am going to do.

Jehovah God, Jesus our Redeemer, the Holy Spirit, the Bible the word of God is the only enduring and everlasting. You were just passing through to finally exhale and seek out other Christians.
I personally am listening to men whom God has allowed to glean spiritual gems that Russell or Miller may have missed. Even to clear up a misunderstood thought from their time period.
I don’t worry that they may or may not believe in a trinity or what-not because they have much more to say than that. Only our former associating religions try to dissuade you from listening to them. When much of Russell’s thoughts are not exactly what the Bible teaches, but we listened to his thoughts and those of the witnesses. The men themselves were okay, but their adherents are the ones worshipping them and trying to get others to see it just his way.
You are an adult and free to pursue God and the Bible only. 66 library books with hidden gems all over the pages. It will take a lifetime or two to find all of them.
It seems you have come to a knee situation with Jehovah and prayer. Talk to the Father, as prophets and men of faith including Jesus did when they got under trial. He listens. Now that you have developed the confidence to go directly to Jehovah through Christ, drop those books and magazines and just pick up the Bible with tears, cry out and ask him to help you fight the demons that plaque you and give you the strength to endure.

How are you doing?
Just belonging to a religious organization or attending its meetings does not make you a Christian.
No more than standing or sleeping in a garage makes you a car.
Adultery, pedophilia and rape can be systemic in a religion, like a calling card an identifier.
It generally is prevalent at the very top of the hierarchy and works it way down.
The lowest ones on the hierarchy ladder are it’s best people and the ones trying.
Their support however keeps the organization running.
You know chicken soup because it has lots of chicken in it.
You know the flavor of a religion by what it’s elders or ministers projects. Elders are becoming notorious for immorality with multiple members of the congregation. Thus breaking up families. The women are just as much at fault also. 60,000 to 80,000 disfellowshipped per year is astounding!
This is my opinion and with heavy heart news of more broken families is happening.
Our heart goes out to those affected.
I am listening to the funeral of John Lewis, a man I saw as a child on the next street from me. Jessie Jackson and Dr. Martin Luther King were there, plus many more as they spoke on the steps of Bethel Baptist Church.
My life of “Good Trouble” was influenced by these men, the need to be free and have the freedom to worship and live in peace with others.
He fought a good fight and helped many to by God’s Grace be free to not only have some form of equality in our country but the freedom to worship God in the way the Bible says and not have to be in slavery to men and their doctrines.
He will be missed on the Senate floor.
We are all a product of our experiences in life and mine has been growing up in segregation in the South and subjugated even more by loss of ability to think and learn about Jesus.
But now I hope it is all behind me as the younger generation now move forward in freedom and peace.
I never thought about it but twice God has given the power to speak in tongues.
Of course Pentecost which brought people together in unity with Christ.
But also at the tower of Babel. To disunify.

If man is doing you wrong do you see a growth prospect for you there?
If you are getting a blessing from something man is doing, do you see the hand of God in that?
God is up to something when you are going through a long test.
When the test is long the thing you will have to do is big, so when under trial, accept it as a training course allowed by God.

How are you with this virus going around? I’ve been away for a while, just enjoying my freedom and now in lockdown here in UK I’ve more time to explore things online.
A little while ago I received a message on Facebook from an old friend and it had an article about some Bible scholars seriously thinking that the verses the apostle Paul wrote about women being quiet in the congregation was added by the Vatican to shut women up and put them down, so these verses that sound a bit sexist were not in the original texts. After all, it was the Vatican that invented the idea that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute when she clearly was not, just to discredit her as the Church was doing all it could to suppress women.
What are your thoughts on this? Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised as the Vatican twisted a lot to fit its dogma; other religions do the same now, including WT!

I too have seen examinations of Paul’s writing on women by Bible scholars. It seem Paul had not a Jewish audience of women and men but a Gentile one. Gentile Women often it states would isolate themselves off from the room with the men and talk out loud about what was being discussed and openly disrupt with questions. Jewish women knew proper protocol so he wasn’t admonishing them at all. He was speaking to a disorderly society and trying to teach them about order in Christ. This is what many suggest and what I have always seen. It is important to know who the audience is and why Paul said it the way he did. Jesus didn’t follow that line of thinking at all. I can’t find anywhere where he demeans a woman. Even the Samaritan woman at the well.
Jesus is our exemplar and during his life on earth and his appearance to women first after his resurrection proves to me as a follower of Christ that I have a ministry in Christ.
We know more from him about the women traveling with him than some of his apostles. Women were prophets and had the Holy Spirit poured out on them along with the men.
There is no gender in the body of Christ. God’s Spirit will move both women and men to do the will of God and to speak out when necessary.
I am so glad you brought up this subject as you know I probably get a lot of heat because three women started this site. Tasha and I for her teenage daughter who insisted she wanted to talk on the “Ask Jacquelne” platform.
But our brothers stepped up and in to write and compile programs and make this site work for the good and furtherance of the goal to help those spiritually abused get help and keep the faith in our Father Jehovah and his Beloved redeemer and SON, Jesus.
I had removed “Askjacqueline” from the fojw site before Tasha’s daughter got to talk to me. I owned “Ask Jacqueline” however long before I met persons from the fojw site as just an advice columnist, so I always had a following.
But when it went to fojw against my will, I never consented but rather objected to it being on that site, I had to respond because people immediately began to address me.

As long as I see where Jehovah used women as prophets and so much in the Bible I won’t stop letting the Holy Spirit guide me as a member of the Church. Jesus allowed women to announce his resurrection, WHAT A JOY, AND PRIVILEDGE!
On this site, we each have our jobs and pages and have little conflict because we respect each other no matter the gender. On the other site if I wrote an article the scriptures had to be supplied by a male and the photos had to be put up by a male. The witnesses do the same. Women often write the Awake and Watchtower articles but a brother would change a word or comma etc then it could be said he wrote it as he approved it. On the former site, I was on, I was said to be the author only when it was not in accord with their founder’s teachings.

Looking throughout history we have seen plaques much more deadly. While we must take this seriously, especially those of us who are in the target risk age range, we need to exercise a spirit of a sound mind. We take the precautions recommended by the higher authorities and of course have trust in our Lord so that we do not become over anxious or afraid.
I do believe that Christ will return soon. Ezekiel’s prophecy of the Valley of Dry Bones is currently being fulfilled as Israel is being restored to it’s homeland. We do see the beginnings of pangs of distress. At this point though I personally take a wait and see attitude. Keep safe! This will pass!
TedR, because I have lived through epidemics before and quarantines where red tape was put around houses one after the other and you couldn’t come pass it until every child in the house has been certified clear by health personnel coming inside of the house. You could not visit until they had the measles declared out of your communities. Food was put in your yard and your mom came out to get it. If there had been controlling over us then I guess they would have scared everybody. More people died from the measles than in this outbreak.
Mumps epidemic, POLIO was the worst I lived through. My grandparents told us about the 1918 Spanish flu.
So if the people listen to these scare tactics then they are probably people that need to be under this type of authoritative arrangement.
The Horses to me started riding through the centuries and will with other events get worse. Earthquakes in one place after the other and the cities falling might indicate the Ring of Fire erupting.
I tend to look at what is happening in Israel also. Has Israel put the temple together inside the place where they assembled it? We know they have been training persons on how to do the sacrifices.
The TEMPLE MAKES THE GROUND HOLY not Some holy ground TO MAKE THE TEMPLE HOLY. Remember it traveled before Herod’s temple. So on that spot north of the Dome of the rock isn’t neccesary.
If they are, will they find out and the president turns on them for doing so?
Now I won’t argue about whether or not the Angel of the abyss has opened his door because of the horrible things people are doing. But like you, I see this as being a part of the time of the end times that to me began when the horses started riding. Like birth pangs they will get so bad at the end that a woman will tell you:

The legitimate responsible concern we must practice and listen to the leaders God has allowed to possess the know-how and honor to tackle this situation. The Nurses, Doctors, Fireman and other medical personnel are indeed a blessing!

As more and more countries go on lockdown we are on pace to join them soon. The last article posted by Jacqueline is one I hope everyone will take seriously, I know many who are carrying on day to day as if nothing is going on, for all of us who follow the words of Messiah to do unto others as you would have them do to you and to love your neighbor as yourself it would be wise to consider these words and apply them to this situation. I believe God has this under control and things will work to the good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose, if you are not able to go without yet are being forced to like so many are, (forced lay offs etc.) Faith and trust is all to important and there is no better time than now to get into Gods word and fellowship (phone or online). WHAT YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND, PLEASE READ:
Feeling confused as to why Coronavirus is a bigger deal than Seasonal flu? Here it is in a nutshell. I hope this helps. Feel free to share this to others who don’t understand…
It has to do with RNA sequencing…. I.e. genetics.
Seasonal flu is an “all human virus”. The DNA/RNA chains that make up the virus are recognized by the human immune system. This means that your body has some immunity to it before it comes around each year… you get immunity two ways…through exposure to a virus, or by getting a flu shot.
Novel viruses, come from animals…. the WHO tracks novel viruses in animals, (sometimes for years watching for mutations). Usually these viruses only transfer from animal to animal (pigs in the case of H1N1) (birds in the case of the Spanish flu). But once, one of these animal viruses mutates, and starts to transfer from animals to humans… then it’s a problem, Why? Because we have no natural or acquired immunity.. the RNA sequencing of the genes inside the virus isn’t human, and the human immune system doesn’t recognize it so, we can’t fight it off.
Now…. sometimes, the mutation only allows transfer from animal to human, for years it’s only transmission is from an infected animal to a human before it finally mutates so that it can now transfer human to human… once that happens..we have a new contagion phase. And depending on the fashion of this new mutation, thats what decides how contagious, or how deadly it’s gonna be..
H1N1 was deadly….but it did not mutate in a way that was as deadly as the Spanish flu. It’s RNA was slower to mutate and it attacked its host differently, too.
Fast forward.
Now, here comes this Coronavirus… it existed in animals only, for nobody knows how long…but one day, at an animal market, in Wuhan China, in December 2019, it mutated and made the jump from animal to people. At first, only animals could give it to a person… But here is the scary part…. in just TWO WEEKS it mutated again and gained the ability to jump from human to human. Scientists call this quick ability, “slippery”
This Coronavirus, not being in any form a “human” virus (whereas we would all have some natural or acquired immunity). Took off like a rocket. And this was because, Humans have no known immunity…doctors have no known medicines for it.
And it just so happens that this particular mutated animal virus, changed itself in such a way the way that it causes great damage to human lungs..
That’s why Coronavirus is different from seasonal flu, or H1N1 or any other type of influenza…. this one is slippery. And it’s a lung eater…And, it’s already mutated AGAIN, so that we now have two strains to deal with, strain s, and strain L….which makes it twice as hard to develop a vaccine.
We really have no tools in our shed, with this. History has shown that fast and immediate closings of public places has helped in the past pandemics. Philadelphia and Baltimore were reluctant to close events in 1918 and they were the hardest hit in the US during the Spanish Flu.
Factoid: Henry VIII stayed in his room and allowed no one near him, till the Black Plague passed…(honestly…I understand him so much better now). Just like us, he had no tools in his shed, except social isolation…
And let me end by saying….right now it’s hitting older folks harder… but this genome is so slippery…if it mutates again (and it will). Who is to say, what it will do next.

COVID-19 (coronavirus) What to do – Recommendations from an expert. Please read what he wrote to his colleagues:
Subject: What I am doing for the upcoming COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic
Dear Colleagues,
As some of you may recall, when I was a professor of pathology at the University of California San Diego, I was one of the first molecular virologists in the world to work on coronaviruses (the 1970s). I was the first to demonstrate the number of genes the virus contained. Since then, I have kept up with the coronavirus field and its multiple clinical transfers into the human population (e.g., SARS, MERS), from different animal sources.
The current projections for its expansion in the US are only probable, due to continued insufficient worldwide data, but it is most likely to be widespread in the US by mid to late March and April. Here is what I have done and the precautions that I take and will take. These are the same precautions I currently use during our influenza seasons, except for the mask and gloves:
1) NO HANDSHAKING! Use a fist bump, slight bow, elbow bump, etc.
2) Use ONLY your knuckle to touch light switches, elevator buttons, etc., Lift the gasoline dispenser with a paper towel or use a disposable glove.
3) Open doors with your closed fist or hip – do not grasp the handle with your hand, unless there is no other way to open the door. Especially important on bathroom and post office/commercial doors.
4) Use disinfectant wipes at the stores when they are available, including wiping the handle and child seat in grocery carts.
5) Wash your hands with soap for 10-20 seconds and/or use a greater than 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer whenever you return home from ANY activity that involves locations where other people have been.
6) Keep a bottle of sanitizer available at each of your home’s entrances. AND in your car for use after getting gas or touching other contaminated objects when you can’t immediately wash your hands.
7) If possible, cough or sneeze into a disposable tissue and discard. Use your elbow only if you have to. The clothing on your elbow will contain an infectious virus that can be passed on for up to a week or more!
What I have stocked in preparation for the pandemic spread to the US:
1) Latex or nitrile latex disposable gloves for use when going shopping, using the gasoline pump, and all other outside activity when you come in contact with contaminated areas. Note: This virus is spread in large droplets by coughing and sneezing. This means that the air will not infect you! BUT all the surfaces where these droplets land are infectious for about a week on average – everything that is associated with infected people will be contaminated and potentially infectious. The virus is on surfaces and you will not be infected unless your unprotected face is directly coughed or sneezed upon. This virus only has cell receptors for lung cells (it only infects your lungs) The only way for the virus to infect you is through your nose or mouth via your hands or an infected cough or sneeze onto or into your nose or mouth.
2) Stock up now with disposable surgical masks and use them to prevent you from touching your nose and/or mouth (We touch our nose/mouth 90X/day without knowing it!). This is the only way this virus can infect you – it is lung-specific. The mask will not prevent the virus in a direct sneeze from getting into your nose or mouth – it is only to keep you from touching your nose or mouth.
3) Stock up now with hand sanitizers and latex/nitrile gloves (get the appropriate sizes for your family). The hand sanitizers must be alcohol-based and greater than 60% alcohol to be effective.
4) Stock up now with zinc lozenges. These lozenges have been proven to be effective in blocking coronavirus (and most other viruses) from multiplying in your throat and nasopharynx. Use as directed several times each day when you begin to feel ANY “cold-like” symptoms beginning. It is best to lie down and let the lozenge dissolve in the back of your throat and nasopharynx. Cold-Eeze lozenges is one brand available, but there are other brands available. I, as many others do, hope that this pandemic will be reasonably contained, BUT I personally do not think it will be. Humans have never seen this snake-associated virus before and have no internal defense against it. Tremendous worldwide efforts are being made to understand the molecular and clinical virology of this virus. Unbelievable molecular knowledge about the genomics, structure, and virulence of this virus has already been achieved. BUT, there will be NO drugs or vaccines available this year to protect us or limit the infection within us. Only symptomatic support is available.

I have 2 experiences I would like to share.
First I was doing some last-minute delivery of flyers by foot as a member of the Chamber of Commerce to the different Church congregations in my city because the date for the project was near.
I enjoyed each encounter! One had people arriving at about 2 pm. I went up front to the older female and asked what was about to happen?
She said Mid-week small Bible study and they have one more at 6 pm but she wasn’t over that and she told me I was welcome to attend.
I felt so free and blessed to respond for them to enjoy their study of the word of God. Books? No, they go verse by verse and let the Holy Spirit help. Each church I visited I had similar warm experiences.
I expressed my love at seeing so many coming out in this cold and said may God bless your study. They all would answer back with equal love expressions. Just the Bible, no books no mentioning of a man of men, they made their own decisions to take and distribute the flyers to family. (Free money for housing, had to get the word out that the program is Saturday https://www.naca.com/) I enjoyed walking right in among people studying the word of God. And to bring them something that helped them to maybe be able to buy that home they need.
Next, I have been listening to vintage John Mac Arthur from 1973. It is funny that he is talking about what man says will happen like holding a whole small phone in our hand accessing knowledge like Daniel said and other things that were future to them but we take it for granted. He would flip out if he saw the Internet! But he has some great talking points.

He makes the points for why Jesus will return to EARTH and Rule. There is no invisible Presence even hinted at in the Bible. They made it up to cover up the failed prophecy of the world ending.
Jesus never did 1/2 the things He is supposed to do while on earth, it is future. But God does not lie Jesus has to come back and do it.
Also, there is nothing to indicate this strange doctrine of “Special Anointed” 144,000 in Russell or Witness religion to go to heaven and rule over mankind from heaven.
Clearly, the Bible says all eyes shall see him, no Invisible Presence. This is made up. Rev. 5:10 by men.
On the internet or TV we will see him as China sees him and as the earth rotates we all will eventually see him coming in on the clouds of heaven.
