Babylon the Great- Islam????

This is a Contributed Article
This is just something to think about because we have been told this is the worldwide false religious system and also that this refers to the Papal system as the head then all of her little sisters.
Yet there is a false prophet mentioned in Rev 16:16. Muhammed sits on a level with Jesus as the prophet?? Just throwing something out there to spur some thought since Holy Spirit is just working on truthseekers it seems now.
I hope this is received in the Spirit of thinking not endorsing a particular thought as we can draw our own individual conclusions. Take Care  (I will add a video later when the brother send it to me)
BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

The Mystery Explained

6I could see that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and of the witnesses for Jesus. And I was utterly amazed at the sight of her.

7“Why are you so amazed?” said the angel. “I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and ten horns.

8The beast that you saw—it was, and now is no more, but is about to come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. And those who dwell on the earth whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet will be.

9This calls for a mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while.

11The beast that was, and now is not, is an eighth king, who belongs to the other seven and is going into destruction. 12The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom but will receive one hour of authority as kings, along with the beast. 13These kings have one purpose: to yield their power and authority to the beast.

The Victory of the Lamb

14They will make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will triumph over them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and He will be accompanied by His called and chosen and faithful ones.”

15Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute was seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. 16And the ten horns and the beast that you saw will hate the prostitute. They will leave her desolate and naked and will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17For God has put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose by uniting to give their kingdom to the beast until the words of God are fulfilled. 18And the woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”

If one asks an Arab today, “where is Mount Babel?” They would tell you that it is in Mecca and Babel has recently been built in Mecca all with the 7 massive building towers on top of it, the largest modern building structure in the world they call “The Towers Of The House,” reminiscent to the “7 Towers of Light” in ancient Babel, that overlooks the Ka’ba, Islam’s holiest place.

Mecca is both a “city” and a “tower”:

“And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.” (Genesis 11:4)

When it comes to Mystery Babylon, the common tendency amongst many Protestant theologians is to liken it to Rome.

So what evidence did they have to come to such conclusion? According to them, Rome is “the city of seven hills” regardless that Scripture never said “city of seven hills”. Others realizing this problem equated Mystery Babylon with Iraq, since this was home to the original Babylon.

Why is it that they still insist on accusing Rome, regardless that the use “MOTHER OF HARLOTS”, while it is commonly attributed to the Vatican’s Mariology with the worship of Ishtar, they ignore that history records that the worship of Ishtar “Kilili”, or “Queen of Harlots” originated from Arabia, not Rome?

Forces in the Persian Gulf and Arab intelligence services have noted the establishment of Iranian missile launch sites aimed in the direction of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, according to Egyptian and Jordanian intelligence officials speaking to WND.”

Yet, no one in the prophecy arena has even raised a single red flag about the significance of this report; Iran (biblical Elam) must destroy Arabia. In Isaiah 21:9, Isaiah levels a prophetic oracle against Babylon using the same announcement in Revelation 18:1-2 and Revelation 14:8: “Babylon is fallen, is fallen”:

“The burden against Dumah” (Isaiah 21:11)
“The burden against Arabia” (Isaiah 21:13)
“All the glory of Kedar will fail” (Isaiah 21:16)

These are all in Arabia, which is destroyed by Iran “Elam” (Isaiah 21:2).
So why do folks skip the name “Arabia” in Isaiah 21 when they read Scripture?

Good afternoon Rene and thank you so much! Jesus is the Prince of Peace. John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

TedR’s, beautiful comments on putting on the complete suit of armor from God is what we must do when Personal Peace is disturbed. Thank you so much, Ted.

I had people come in last night to take this over. So now I am finished with it on this open forum.

  2. Rene says:

    Jacqueline,

I have to implore you to turn this situation over to someone else in the group because I am deeply concerned about your health. We all appreciate you efforts to keep our little online community free of strife and worry, but we also know that everyone has their limits.

I know that most of our regular guests to the site know that you have had at least one stress induced stroke and none of us want the progress you have made to be undermined by additional and unnecessary stress.

While I am not entirely familiar with what is happening, I am reading through the comments and am truly dismayed that nothing is sacred anymore. We live in a world where feelings are more important than people’s lives and mercy and honor are virtues of a by-gone age.

Our whole environment is filled with deception. This deception has a lot to do with the cognitive gymnastics that imperfect humanity plays to reconcile biblically irreconcilable behaviors and actions. We are surrounded by enablers in this system that will help us to convince ourselves that some of our worst behaviors are strengths and not spiritual weaknesses, that we are not harming our relationship with God and making a mockery of our faith when we verbally assassinate one another.

“The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness” (James 3:6, 9).

Much like the way Satan spoke his slander through the snake, our digital environment has become a proxy through which the terrible craft of abusive speech is practiced and honed and so many of us are completely ignorant of the danger. The world has become so accepting of this behavior, that individuals have become deceived about the danger and consequences that come with this perceived right to express themselves in ways God would not approve of. James 1:26 If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless.

I once got into a very serious fight with a family member. Although I didn’t curse or yell, I said things that I now regret because I wanted that family member to understand how he had made me feel and the only way I could think to do that was to hurt him the way he hurt me. It has taken me a long time to realize that even though in more than a few areas I was justified in my anger, even enemies have creator given rights that are not withdrawn just because someone has offended you. Even wars have rules of engagement, and these rules draw a distinction between civility and barbarism.

We know as Christians, the price of receiving Grace is that we become dead to our past behaviors transformed through the holy spirit which enables us to live a life filled with grace. The purpose of grace was to provoke a change designed to manifest Gods glory through our transformation into sons and daughters of the Living God in the likeness of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:1-4 As for you, you were dead in your trespasses and sins, 2in which you used to walk when you conformed to the ways of this world and of the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience. 3 At one time we all lived among them, fulfilling the cravings of our flesh and indulging its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature children of wrath. 4 But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!
Being religious does not absolve us of accountability in this area of our speech, on the contrary it makes us without excuse as we learn what God expects of us and proceeded to do the exact opposite.

We Cannot have a life free of hypocrisy if both bitter and sweet flow from our mouths, and grace is not like a credit card that we can charge recklessly in the belief that we will never have to pay back.

I do not place my faith in man or our secular society that is utterly compromised by Satan’s spirit. We should not adopt this worlds patterns of behavior and should not be tempted to trust human reasoning about where to set moral boundaries as they will not stand in your place during judgment (Psalms 146:3).
The freedom of speech that man grants us is devoid of responsibility, accountability and moral governance, creating an absence of correction and self-reflection. True freedom in Christ comes from God, and not from men who are so spiritually blind, that patterning we after them will only lead to ruin.

17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with intensifying glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

This spirit is tested by our behavior and can become evidence of our character if we are not careful. Luke 6:45 says, “A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”

Our service to God must be free of hypocrisy, as we will not be spared from Gods day of wrath if we live lives that contradict our professed faith earning Gods contempt and punishment. Matthew 5:21–22 “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ [an Aramaic term of contempt meaning “worthless, empty”] is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.”

When we live in a constant state of being easily provoked, and wrath serves a function in our lives, we signal our enemy Satan who understands all too well what small events to set into motion to cause us to react according to habit. Wrath is a cycle, fits of anger can be a learned pattern of behavior to make us feel in control through our forceful control of others through demoralizing speech, threats and humiliations. But this behavior never gets anyone any meaningful or lasting results and the more we feel we are not in control, the more we rely on these sad self-destructive methods to bring counterfeit control that comes at a terrible cost. God did not give us dominion over one another but predicted that sinful flesh would seek out ways of dominating our brother and that this practice causes mutual harm.

In reality, Satan both destroys the willing vessel of wrath along with his/her victims, there is only an illusion of control in the situation, but none of us are beyond accountability as we will have to answer for every crass comment, threat, and God dishonoring words that come from our lips regardless of what perceived right we believe that we had to say it.

Satan delights in the destruction of peace, he is the antithesis of it. His goal is to destroy marriages, families, friendships, and relationships between individuals so that he has something to accuse us of in heaven. Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

A very wise man once told me that when we are attacked by others to not hate the person attacking us but hate what is influencing the individual. When Christians have to pray to God to get relief from one another, allowing Satan to keep his hands clean while we do his work for him, we leave God with no reply to give our accuser. How ignorant we all are of what is being spoken about us in heaven as many of us do not take seriously the fact that we are spectacles of men and angels and our behavior can bring reproach on our maker. Romans 2:23 You who boast in the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonor God?

Our speech and behavior can act as a witness against us in reference to what spirit is operating within us. John 13:27 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly.”
We know from the scriptures that the world is under Satanic control and his influence is designed to provoke humans into engaging in behaviors that:
    1) Offend God
    2) Harm our neighbor
    3) Cause our own self-destruction

It is in these moments when we are provoked that the reality of our character is made truly manifested and we have a choice to remember our humanity and no longer behave like unreasoning and unfeeling animals ruled by instinct and emotion. Colossians 3:8 But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.

The fleeting sense of power that comes through verbal abuse, is not worth the price of eternal destruction. Our thoughts are not God’s thoughts and our proud justification of our actions will not likely hold any weight in Gods eyes as he has condemned the works of the flesh Galatians 5:19-21.

Christopher, you are cyberbullying and I will report it to the FBI. So I am requesting that you stop commenting on this website and I will not warn you again. I have kept all of your many comments from all night and all day. You are threatening and abusive. If I wake up tomorrow and there is a ton of comments from you I will call the FBI and turn them over.
In fact, you have already gone too far. All night and day you have been threatening me. I am getting off of here and dialing 911 to make a report to my local police now.
I will not respond to you anymore and every email and comment will be preserved and handed over to the FBI.

  4. Christopher Johns says:

I can see it now. “See what happens when we leave a cult. They attack” victim mentality. Typical democratic plantation mentality.

  5. Christopher Johns says:

I have no problem posting if you’re not going to be fair. Typical exJW. Delete comments that are against your views. That’s ok. Ill keep posting until your comments and mine are gone.

  6. Christopher Johns says:

Love how you deleted my comments. Typical.of.those who have the Jw mindset. Different opinions must be suppressed. Its. Oo. Truth prevails.

  7. Chris Johns says:

Also I think it’s funny how you say I assume a lot but every time I talk to you you haven’t even read most of the reprints. And it’s not a requirement to have to read them but what you’ve done is you googled stuff about Russell and excepted it and posted it as facts on mine. And then talk about other people assuming things.

And if I still have the JW mentality how come you don’t like criticism and will probably block my IP address because you can’t take it. You’ve done it before. No different.

  8. Chris Johns says:

    Jacqueline,
I still have the JW mentality? See even when is the Revelation 20:5 and back it up with scholars and manuscripts and reasoning and yet you still don’t want to except it because of what your little Bible study says? That’s what they do. So you technically still have their way of thinking. It’s Wicca not Wiccum. Get educated. And you can drop the whole “I’m a psychologist” because your don’t even have a PhD nor a masters in the subject. I remember that conversation. Funny how you think I still followed that. Also new and exciting yes. Like you can’t admit Rev 20:5 is spurious when all the manuscripts that we have and scholars have said it is. But because Russell said it is and you cant stand him you just don’t want to accept that. You don’t know what you’re talking about first off honey no one said anything about what to do. You opened a site to discuss ideas and I stated what I thought about it. Assume a lot.. Many exJWs. No one said it was Islam? That’s what the page is talking about. Your personal attacks sweetheart and “I’m a victim” mentality are exactly why your life is the way it is. And sweetie our last few years knowing each other you talk a lot which is why I don’t take your cristism about how I don’t know you as moot. You talk a lot and I remember a lot I haven’t left the witnesses? I never believed in their governing body. You want your own following. I don’t worship Russell. Plus you assume I do. Then call us out for it. So what’s the difference between listening to Joel Osteen and accepting what he says and listening to Russell and accepting what he says. It’s ok sweetie. Hypocrisy exist and I see it in you. This whole “I’m an empowered black feminist” doesn’t phase me sweetie. I grew up in the south. Ignorance is also in indiana.

  9. jacqueline says:

You keep coming on telling people what to do or not to do Christopher. We aren’t trying to stop you from your journey. You have an entire website to put your comments and ideas. You are all-knowing. Talk about yourself sometimes instead of what everybody else is doing. Smokescreens keep you from focusing on you.
You assume a lot, don’t you? No one here said it was Islam, but you don’t know how to present ideas to make us think. All you can do is dictate and try to keep people in your safe place. You haven’t really left the witnesses, you went laterally. We will discuss what we see and your popping in to dictate and try to discourage others won’t work. God has people all over the world and not just in your religion. You assume a lot don’t you?

What is Christopher about? What are you doing? Are you thinking or just blindly following what is laid out for you as you bounce over the web criticizing everybody. Take care of Christopher. I hope you find a place where you feel safe.

New and exciting seem to be your thing. You were all excited by the pyramids then types and antitypes, Wiccum excited you, the witnesses excited you.
It is you Christopher that get all excited and go run off on a tandem.

Stop putting your personality on us. Thank you

PS: Christopher we have discussed your issues and I would like to ask you not to comment on this site anymore. Go to your site, you are happy with your religion, you are not welcome here but you do have an entire site to comment and fellowship.
Please refrain from commenting on this site anymore even with all of your aliases. Thank you

Interesting that Islam traces its origins also to our Father Abraham, and its prophet and holy book is directly against the Messiah and is absolutely without a doubt most certainly an anti-christ religion as they are against Jesus in everyway save that of a simple prophet.

  11. jacqueline says:

Here is another place to put our thoughts about Babylon the great. A brother just called me to discuss this in great detail and I suggested we provide a place for it on the site.
God knows we are waking up and we need to talk to one another and help others to see you can talk about the Bible without having to harmonize it with our older understandings.
