Tasha, I counted your children because in January I remembered you saying your children would be with you. That brought us to the thirteen. It was like we were all together with the set up of the free conference call. Sorry there was some hearing problem for you.
This was taped and anyone wanting a copy, just let Dave know here on the site and he will send it to you.
Our Sister Una’s heartfelt prayer brought tears to us at my home,
    men and women.
California authorities advised Jewish worshippers to meet in small groups in homes for worship. The Catholic church in Sri Lanka has suspended mass indefinitely because of brutal attacks. We have instituted this meeting in small group early.
That makes us feel good that Holy Spirit directed us this way already and we can even see each other if desired by just turning on our camera. Having a typing chat box is so helpful also as we can share thoughts or AMEN a point. Love you so much.
Noona and I will be revamping this site and we will have another counselor joining us soon also.
    His write up is great.
    Take Care.

Nicole we enjoyed your little family so much. This was an absolute special Memorial for us all. And we were so focused on what this night meant and not the fancy clothes fashion show that we were used too. Love you.
PS: Got the writeup for the new page for Brandon.
I will work on it by Thursday.

My three children and myself were able to attend via conference call. I also have only attended jw ones. This one was special because we actually partook. My son and I made the unleavened bread. We did have some difficulty hearing some of it, but even so it was so wonderful. Thank you-tasha

My family and I attended the Memorial at Sister Jacqueline home and it was truly a blessing. In the past, I had attended the Memorial with Jehovah Witnesses and I’m ashamed to say that my main concern was my physical appearance. As I previously stated, this year was special because instead of focusing on my appearance, I was able to really concentrate on Jesus and the meaning behind his loving sacrifice. The main focus was on Jesus and because of that, I have a better understanding of the ransom sacrifice and how I can show my appreciation for Jehovah God allowing his only begotten son to die for everyone. I am so thankful that Sister Jacqueline invited my family to join her, along with other brothers for the Memorial.

The Memorial was truly a blessed event for us. There were 13 in total attendance. Six of us had dinner then joined the online ” Free conference call” brothers. Dave sent the outline with places for prayers by different ones and scriptural readings.
It was a feeling of being connected to God and Jesus this night. Actively participating made a difference. The different households prepared their own emblems. All connections were great on the internet, not one glitch.
Afterwards we shared experiences. It was a joy to have the fellowship.

I often wondered why Jesus would ransom us and not just an angel. Jesus is overpayment it seemed. Just thinking out loud.
But now that I realize the Old Testament leads us to Christ it is easier to understand.
Both Adam and Jesus are Firstborn sons of God even as angels are sons of God.
But Adam loved Eve so much he knew she would die and that would have been the end of any progeny, He was a dead man himself, Eve, however, was deceived.

The Leverate system could allow her husband’s next of kin to provide offspring as his brother Adam’s progeny. Boaz and Ruth showed it only would go to a distant relative or second brother only if the closest relative turned it down or was dead.
Jesus was the 1st and closest relative and saved seed for Adam. They had not had children before the death sentence pronounced on Adam.

Rom. 5:14 “Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. (NAS)
Rom. 5:14 ” Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin in the likeness of Adam’s transgression. He is a prototype of the Coming One. (Holman)
Rom. 5:14 ” Yet death held sway from Adam to Moses [the Lawgiver], even over those who did not themselves transgress [a positive command] as Adam did. Adam was a type (prefigure) of the One Who was to come [in reverse, the former destructive, the Latter saving].

They both had a bride that they loved very much and laid down their lives for them. Adam willfully and Jesus willfully.

They were not alike in so many ways that I had to look at this with fresh eyes. To see if something else could be at play. They were brothers.

Also, the first sentence of the Bible when read in its picture form actually tells that the creator of man would save men. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmnUkNT55gU

We could never understand many things in the Old Testament if the New Testament was never written.

Were Adam and Jesus just an equal correspondence to each other? Jesus was not just equal to Adam he was so much more. He has power, wisdom and might that Adam never had. The ransom just had to be equivalent but could be much, much more.
Jesus was a God with a pre-human existence., Adam never was.
The Ruth and Boaz relationship to me sheds some light. Jesus and Adam were Sons of God. We are sons of Adam.
A levirate situation also existed in providing offspring for a dead brother. As in preserving alive seed. Only Jesus and Adam had this direct creation relationship as firstborns, sons of God. Satan was not Jesus brother, he was his creation. Other angels didn’t have this unique relationship.

Figleaves couldn’t cover their error so blood had to be shed and animal skins were made for them. To cover their error.
Cain knew this but chose to offer plants or leaves, he knew better. Jesus shed blood is all in the book of Genesis 1:-11th chapter.

Adam knew what he was doing and was willing to die because of his intense love for Eve, his Bride.
Jesus also willingly gave up his life and died for us. And HIS Bride. hmmmm

The seed of the woman mentioned in Genesis 3:15 is strange if not for the virgin birth of Christ. Men have seed, not women. She produced him as the human parent by God, how prophetic.

Another thought about Jesus and His mother.
John died of natural causes but Jesus 2 brothers and all the other apostles died martyrs. His mom would have John until she died.

Ps.22:12 The bulls of Basham encircled Jesus.
    – Many bulls have compassed me. The Sufferer represents the adversaries who crowd around him under the figure of “bulls” – fierce animals in all parts of the world, and in Palestine particularly’ wild and ferocious. “Bulls, and buffaloes are very numerous, says Canon Tristram, “in Southern Judaea; they are in the habit of gathering in a circle around any novel or unaccustomed object, and may be easily instigated into charging with their horns” (‘Natural History of the Bible,’ p. 71). Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. Bashan, the richest pasture-g”round of Palestine, produces the largest and strongest animals (Ezekiel 39:18). Hence “the kine of Bashan” became an expression for powerful oppressors (Amos 4:1).

How surprised will the evildoer next to Jesus be when he sees how many put faith in Christ because of their conversation! For the next couple of weeks, Christians everywhere will be talking about his marvelous promise that he will be with Christ in Paradise.

Some say he went to heaven that day if so he wasn’t with Jesus because He lay in a tomb for 3 days then preached to the Spirits in prison, appeared to his disciples before ascending alone to be at the right hand of God. No man ascended to heaven before Jesus opened the way. Paradise existed when Jehovah had direct and personal dealing with Adam. The timeline appears to be during that time or when all things are subjected and restored by Jesus.

The manner of the Lord’s death.

Excruciating is a word that means intensely painful. “excruciating back pain”
synonyms: agonizing, extremely painful, severe, acute, intense, extreme, savage, violent, racking, searing, piercing, stabbing, raging, harrowing, tormenting, grievous; More
mentally agonizing; very embarrassing, awkward, or tedious.
This is what it must have been for Christ at his execution, so I looked into the word and here are some of the interesting facts I found about this word. Latin, Greek, and Hebrew, were the languges in use in Jesus day.

Cruc has many possible meanings: “perhaps from Latin crux interpretum “a point in a text that is impossible to interpret,” in which the literal sense is something like “crossroads of interpreters.”
Cruc: 1cru*sade…n…[derived from early French croisade and Spanish cruzada, both meaning literally “an expedition of persons marked with or bearing the sign of the cross” and both derived from Latin cruc-, crux “cross” — related to cross ]
    Cruc:cruciform.crucifies.crucifers.crucified.crucifier.crucially.crucibles.
Cruc: Borrowed from Latin crux. Cognate with Old High German krūzi (German Kreuz), Old Saxon krūci (Dutch kruis, Low German Krüüz), Old Irish cros (Welsh croes, Irish crois, Old Norse kross English cross), Old French croiz (French croix), Spanish cruz and many others.

Crucifying: It was virtually never used in pre-Hellenic Greece. The Romans perfected crucifion for 500 years until it was abolished by Constantine I in the 4th century AD. Crucifixion in Roman times was applied mostly to slaves, disgraced soldiers, Christians and foreigners–only very rarely to Roman citizens.
There is more evident that Jesus was hung on a cross than there is for an upright stake. He should have died in 15 minutes if his hands were directly over his head. But he had to stay up there until he fulfilled all of the sacrifices that were done by the priest all day from the tabernacle shadows.
