Who was Jehovah speaking to at Ps. 83:18 King James "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth."
We were taught this scripture is to prove God's name is Jehovah but that is not the case at all. It is to tell the other gods in his Council that He, Jehovah, was supreme over them. Not about what his name was. I hope this documentary helps you. Shalom

It is with great sadness to inform you that Dr. Heiser has passed away. However, his teachings have been a true blessing to many ministers. Through his teachings, he revealed that a Divine Council exists in heaven. He explained that the 24 elders mentioned in Revelation are actually a part of the Divine Counsel of Jehovah. Dr. Heiser believed that God shares and discusses things with other divine beings.
I too believe our Father has a Divine Council. RIP Dr. Heiser!
Ps 83:18 isn’t about teaching what God’s name is. It is about replying to the other gods in council, saying I am over you and I have spoken. Not about teaching what his name is. Wow, deception or ignorance on behalf of our former organization.
