What is JEHOVAH Saying?

Acts 17:27 "God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us."

Psalms19:1 "For the director of music. A psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."

Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse."

Henry, you know I have contended for over ten years that I see some activity in this 2nd death because I was looking at a Jewish commentary years ago that said Jews know what the refining Lake of Fire is and never have taught that people burn.
So now I can speak openly and not just to you as others might be led by the Spirit to see this.

We are so fixed on what we were taught that you just die that we never thought about you will bow before the mighty God and acknowledge him! What is the aftermath of this Lake of Fire? The Bible doesn’t seem to say unless it connects to Gehenna where Jesus says Jehovah destroys both body and soul.

Anyway, I will wait for the discussion tonight, got to eat some fuel so I can enjoy. See you then on: https://askjacqueline.life/freeconferencecall/

    Lee Anthony,
I get what you are saying. Satan being thrown into the lake of fire(second death) for the first time how can that death be second. But it seems it’s only a “second death” for mankind(see Ted’s explanation below in his first sentence) but regarding Satan, does it ever say “second death” for him? I don’t know of any scriptures that says that, unless you can show me. In other words the lake of fire is the second death for mankind but not for Satan.
Last night I was studying Revelation 2:11 which says “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says,”He who overcomes will not be HURT by the second death. IN other words experiencing the Lake of Fire can “Hurt” in the second death.” Then that goes back to Revelation 20:10 which you discussed in your last comment. Satan being tormented day and night forever and ever means he feels something? Whenever I talk to Jacqueline about this I always say second DEATH. We know what death is. Right? Ecc. 9:5,10

I hope understand you correctly Lee and I hope I haven’t created confusion.

TedR, how we wish you could talk tonight. I always thought 2nd death as another type of death. God’s death as opposed to Adam’s death, not as you must die once then this is your second time. But maybe it is a chronological thing and it would make you wonder when did satan die once? I just thought there were 2 deaths out there. Adamic death and one God always have had.

Maybe tonight we can talk. Henry is reading all comments so we can go for it tonight. (:)

    Lee Anthony and Ted,
I have been afraid to discuss openly some thoughts I have for 5 years on this subject. Because our Bibles have miss translations but now we know more about language.
I wondered what did Jesus mean we those in the first resurrection “would not be subject to “second death”. And the people aren’t said to be tormented for ever and ever. But satan and the false prophet was.

Now that you brothers have brought it up I am going to post a video in an article to see if we can talk about this but have its article so people can find it.
It will be up in about 30 minutes.
I have only had Henry to bounce off until now.

    Thanks Ted,
The view is one I share and have for some time, however restudying the matter with the wording in consideration I am no longer as sure as I once was before. New Ideas? Trying to get some interest of outside minds if I can also

Since the Devil is a fallen angel he was not under the death sentence of Adam and was not subject to death as we know it. He did die spiritually however when he rebelled against our Father, so in a sense his destruction would be second death. To me the Bible is plain here in its symbolism of complete destruction. Satan and his demons and supporters would have to be completely destroyed for Gods promises to be found true. Humans must be subject to second death because the Bible promises a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous. This would occur only after a person dies the first time. Death is not done away with until after the little season. Jehovah\’s Witnesses have taken Armageddon and the promises of Paradise and moved it forward to after the Great Tribulation. When Christ returns and sts up his Kingdom, it will be a time of judgement and restoration. That is why Satan must be abyssed and taken out of the picture (a deathlike state). This gives man a fair chance to really come to know our Father and his son. But it is obvious from Revelation that there will be many who refuse Christ, not from deception, but for their own desire for independence from Gods righteous laws. So Satan will be released (resurrected?) and the final war of Gog and Magog will then take place and Satan and his paramours will receive their everlasting judgment.
Revelation 20:7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle.
Notice the final judgment here occurs after the 1000 year reign of Christ!
12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
At least that\’s my viewpoint at this time but by no means dogmatic.

  7. Lee Anthony says:

Food for thought. If the Lake of fire was prepared for the devil and his angels (matt25:41) and it is called 2nd death for us (rev 20:14) When the devil is cast in after his little coup after the 1000 years it is said he is destroyed, yet this would be his 1st death would it not? As far as we know he has not died therefore to him this is not 2nd death.

The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
The JW’s interpretation of this is sad and without scritural support andlaughable at best yet is generally the excepted view among bible students I think.
    What do others think?
The word here is to torment, test, question by torture… Also used as a strong wind at sea, ( Mat 14:24)
But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary….
Its used 8 times or so maybe a few more. Mat 8:29 is a good example, as it deals with a demon using same word and apparently same subject. So do we change the word here or do we let it remain as it is in every manuscript and translation of revelation. I find this very intriguing, I cannot explain it away as I see no scriptural support for an argument of destruction of satan, at least not yet. New thoughts? I dont think the loving God argument works here as he is also just and judges as he sees fit, death was the sentence for many of the laws if broken with no sacrifice available until Messiah so its to be looked into with great consideration into Gods ways and also the crimes satan is guilty of.
    Burning subject….

Henry here is your link as an article. Some of our readers can only see a youtube video if it is hosted on a site and they can easily find this. Again thanks for the link.
