HI everyone! Let me tell you about myself.
My name is Henry and I'm 68 years old. I have 3 sons and 5 grandchildren.
I was a Jehovah's Witness from 1971 to 2007(36 yrs.) I served as a Ministerial Servant and Elder during that time. I also associated with the Bible Students for approximately 5 years.
I've always been interested in history and current events. (I won the city-wide current events
contest when I was in 6th grade.)

The policy impacts low-income religious citizens who receive government assistance, according to Bitter Winter, a watchdog that monitors reports of persecution in China.

New Zealand’s Outrageous New Abortion Law: A Low Point or a Turning Point?

You’d think that a global pandemic that’s killed hundreds of thousands would at least temper the advance of legal killing. It hasn’t. While headlines worldwide were praising New Zealand’s prime minister for her handling of COVID-19, she was working to pass what might be described as the most extreme abortion laws on the planet.
Tn late March, New Zealand’s parliament voted, in the words of the New York Times, to “loosen” the nation’s abortion laws, particularly in the latter half of pregnancy when babies become viable outside of the womb. “Loosen” may be the understatement of the decade.
New Zealand’s “loosened” laws now allows abortion on-demand, up to the moment of birth, for essentially any reason. That means sex-selective and disability-selective abortions, including for conditions like cleft lip and Down syndrome. The “loosening” happened despite the protests of over 1,200 New Zealanders with Down syndrome and their families, who called on Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to keep her campaign promise not to allow this kind of deadly discrimination.

Websites Crash Worldwide as Cloudflare Suffers Outage

Multiple websites crashed worldwide today as one of the web’s most important infrastructure providers and content delivery networks, Cloudflare, suffered an outage. Cloudflare provides DNS and CDN services and powers approximately “40% of the internet.”
The Cloudflare system status page stated that “the issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented.” The issue is reportedly related to the Cloudflare Resolver in the company’s edge network in certain locations. The outage struck at quite a few Cloudflare data centers at the same time.

FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL ELDERS
1. Modest Use of Electronic Tools: In many lands, elders are using videoconferencing tools effectively to hold weekly meetings, to arrange for field service, and to shepherd pub-lishers. As a kind reminder, elders should take care not to promote electronic tools in ways that go beyond what has been directed by the organization. (1 Cor. 4:6; w17.1 p. 18 pp. 4-5) We commend you for your hard work in caring for the publishers entrusted to your care.
2. Easing of Governmental COVID-19 Restrictions: The announcement for the congre-gation is intended to prompt family heads to consider prayerfully how to continue protecting their household. While assisting publishers, elders must be cautious not to establish or to enforce rules.
3. Use of Kingdom Halls: Regardless of direction from secular authorities, the Kingdom Hall should not be used for any meetings until further direction is received from the branch office. This applies even if the secular authorities begin to ease certain restrictions in the near future. Adjustments by the secular authorities do not automatically mean there are ad-justments to theocratic activities. At this time, no additional theocratic activities are being resumed. If the body of elders believes there is an exceptional need to use the Kingdom Hall, such as for a judicial committee, a funeral, or a wedding, two elders should call the Service Department and explain the recommendation of the body of elders.
4. Baptisms: Those performing baptisms should take necessary precautions in accord with guidelines provided by the secular authorities to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

1. Announcements for the Congregation: Ensure that the announcements for the con-gregation are read at the next midweek and weekend meetings.

On a similar note I listened to a religious discussion and it mentioned that some religions “churches” will suffer attendance when they began to meet again. Many will prefer to stay at home and not in a big group setting. Some will find other online or smaller groups and realize worship can be done to the Invisible GOD Jehovah and His son Jesus in small groups. They don’t need the erd survival mentality.
David and Christians that fled to the mountains, when the time of the end began in 70 Ce realized God can save and commune on an individual basis not in a building.
He has allowed the religions to grow large but now we have zoom, telephone and other platforms to keep us more in touch than sitting inside the building. Perhaps this is what Daniel 12 spoke of about knowledge moving quickly.
Hopefully, some of the elders can take over their little groups and give the awakened ones freedom by supporting them as they find Jesus.
Without all the books , magazines and governing bodies of men between them and God they can put Jesus there. There is no space for Jesus if you have to put a man or group of men there first.

An elder from my hometown says the number is up to over 800 today. Marcus had talked about the fact they allegedly weren’t allowed to shelter in their apartments and rooms but on-premise. This would have been a problem for an institution that is much like a nursing home. Also, independence from the government was not the wisest thing to be in this instance because they were more up on what to do than ordinary men with no really trained personnel in infectious disease in their mix.
But no one is to blame as everybody learned as they went.
My heart goes out to them and the loved ones plus the entire Bethel, pioneer, CO group. They were in my prayers as I got wind of the numbers before now.

TedR, I heard about it on the news. I will go and watch the video. To resort to violence is not right either. I don’t condone it but I sympathize with her. They destroyed the unity of our family that my mother and father worked hard to put in place.
But I believe voting with your feet and the pen is mightier than the sword! If I leave a high control group, cult or a relationship that is damaging to me, I won’t deal with that situation ever, even the smallest way. I won’t set foot on the property and I would tell everybody what happened to me. This is how you right a wrong or let it be known how bad the situation was for her.
You can’t do anything except go to court if there is emotional or physical damage. That is the only thing that affects thems they are hardened. They have no mercy on the flock. Their moral compass is off. But God is watching them.
I have a significant part of my family back, so I leave these people to themselves. I don’t try to get anyone out. All I say is if I get out you don’t have the right to tell my family not to speak to me. My adult siblings can do whatever they want, they are adults but my children are mine, not those men and I will and DID fight for my children and grandchildren. Any parent would fight until the death for the love of their children when they know they are in harm’s way.

This is an amazing youtube. I prevented my rape and ended up in court after 5 judicial committees and got an order of protection against the elder and the watchtower society.
But it tells my story. I didn’t need two witnesses the “elder” confessed in open court.
An elder violated the restraining order a couple of weeks ago.
So this video is putting me on high alert that they think they can retaliate against me because it has been some time since I won a restraining order against the watchtower society and this elder. So glad I saw this to see this elder rape happens.

Also, keep listening and he has a great thought on how Russell and Rutherford never designed their doctrine to last for over 100 years. Both of them had an end date of Russell 1914, it didn’t happen so he died in disgrace in 1916 on a train. Rutherford in 1925 but both men were not really about truth, just about 144,000 of their little group going to heaven to rule over all men with Jesus.
Today the governing body sees it for what it is a money-making scheme amid people who love being a part of an organization that lays things out for them and they don’t have to even open the Bible to dig with the Holy Spirit. It works for elders because they appoint them as princes in the earth over everybody.
This man is justing some good sound reasoning. This religion’s doctrine wasn’t made to last 100 years.

I see the Oxygen Channel are having programing that we probably would be interesting in seeing. One is about ‘Deadly Cults’ and the other is ‘The Witnesses’. The following are the dates and times. I do not know what time zone they are programmed yet check your listings and cable channels. Each Deadly Cults is an hour long while each The Witnesses are 2 hours long.
